First, you need to set up an API key in Cordial to enable the connector to work. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Cordial account and click on your account in the top right hand corner

2. From the account menu, select API Keys

3. On the API Keys page click the green button to add a new key

4. Name the key Taxi for Email and then enter as the IP address

5. Press Generate Key
6. Cordial will generate a long key code for you

7. Copy and paste the code into a separate document as you will need it for the next stage of the set up process

8. If you can’t see the code, click on the copy icon to the right of the key on the API Keys page

Now that you have the API key set up in Cordial, follow these steps to set up your connector in Taxi for Email:

  1. Log into your Taxi for Email account, click on your name in the top right hand menu and click Organisation Settings

2. Go to the ESP Connectors tab and select Add New

3. Name your connector 'Cordial' and select the Cordial option from the drop down menu

4. You can also add an image for your connector. This is useful if you have multiple connectors in one Taxi account

5. After selecting the Cordial connector, you will see multiple fields to fill in

6. Add the API Key that you copied down from your Cordial account

7. Add your default campaign settings as Taxi will add this information to your mailings on export

8. Select whether your sends are Promotional or Transactional and click update (this can be changed on export)

9. Your Taxi and Cordial accounts are now connected and you can export emails
