Creating and managing Mailings

In this article, we're going to cover how to create a new Mailing. We'll also look at how to clone or delete an existing Mailing.

Creating a new Mailing:

  1. Select the Project you would like to add your mailing to from the projects page

  2. Select 'Add New'

3. Fill in the details of the Mailing and select an Email Design System to use for this Mailing You can go back into the Mailing and change the Email Design System at any time and you can use the same Email Design System across multiple Projects and Mailings

4. Next fill in the Version details Every Mailing must have at least one Version. Define your Version/s by giving it a name and description. You can have multiple Versions per Mailing

5. Select 'Create Mailing' 6. You will now be able to see your new Mailing listed along with the other Mailings in your Project.

To clone a Mailing:

  1. Navigate to the mailing you want to clone

  2. Select 'Clone' from the kebab menu If you do not see the option to clone your account Admin will need to give you the correct permissions to do this.

3. Fill in the name of the cloned Mailing You can lock down what is to be included in the name please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information on this. 4. The cloned Mailing will have the exact same Versions and inheritance as the original Mailing, so if you have disabled any inheritance within a Mailing on the original, it will be disabled in the cloned Mailing

To move a Mailing:

  1. Navigate to the mailing you want to move

  2. Select 'Move to another Project' from the kebab menu If you do not see the option to move to another project your account Admin will need to give you the correct permissions to do this.

3. Select the Project you want to move this Mailing to Both Projects will need to be using the same Email Design System

To delete a Mailing:

  1. Navigate to the Mailing you want to delete

  2. Select 'Delete' from the kebab menu If you do not see the option to clone your account Admin will need to give you the correct permissions to do this.
